A project commemorating the Meiji Restoration. The project utilises traditional Japanese papercut inspired by the woodcut prints of Hokusai. The narrative explores the personal experiences of a young boy who watches his beloved town destroyed and rebuilt as a city to keep pace with the increase in Japan's technological advances.
