Dan Sumner - The Way We Work

An LP sleeve design for The Way We Work. The concept behind the title and the song is the idea that we’re on a conveyor belt, never stopping to take stock of our emotions and living socially atomised lives, often oblivious of what’s around us. Using bold, contrasting colours and hinting subtly at anonymous figures, the artwork links to several of the lyrics including "we’re just numbers" and "this is the way we work, we hurt, we stop only to revert, divert". The feeling of unrelenting motion conveys "we are all just a human flow’" and "we are we are protons that collide, fatally intertwined’".
